1.    Babies don’t have knee caps:

New born babies just have cartilage in the area in and around the knee.

2.    Newborns have weak eyesight:

Till the age of six months, the eyesight of babies doesn't reach 20/20. The vision actually starts at about 20/400.

3.    Babies sense of hearing is great:

Just after about ten minutes of baby’s birth, they are able to hear a lot of the sophisticated things. 

4.    The weight of the baby doubles in the initial 5 months:

That seems a lot of weight to gain. But the breast milk from the mother is nourishing.

5.    They can naturally swim:

For the first six months, they also can swim with natural reflex action.

6.    The number of bones is 60 more than that of adults:

The bones fuse together overtime.

7.    Babies are able to swallow the food and breath at the same time:

This is helpful while they are having milk.

8.    25% of body weight is their head:

As the head part is heavy, therefore it takes a bit more time to catch up.

All babies are born with blue/brown eyes and the color changes with time.
